Box Score COLCHESTER, Ver. – The #19 Lake Erie College Storm men's lacrosse team fell to the St. Michael's Purple Knights, March 9. in Colchester, Vermont, 12-11.
The Storm jumped out to an early 5-2 lead but would end up trailing 10-7 by the end of the first half due to a huge second quarter by the Purple Knights.
Lake Erie would manage to stop the Purple Knights from running away with the contest in the second half, only allowing two goals but their offense would not be able to recover by the end.
On the day, Nick Askin and Dawson Kindall would score two goals apiece while Tommy Bichsel and Blain Wallace would each add two assists. Mike Flury would lead all players with 12 ground balls and goal keeper Lincoln Potter would record 14 saves.
The loss drops the Storm's record to 2-3 on the season. Lake Erie will be back in action, Sat. March 19 at home to host the visiting Wilmington University Wildcats at 1:00 PM.
