PERRY PARK, Kentucky - The Lake Erie College men's golf program took the opportunity to get some additional spring season experience as they headed down south to compete in the Klash in Kentucky. The Storm made the most of their opportunities, and Daniel Milo finished in the top 10 of all golfers in the field. As a team, Lake Erie earned a 6th place finish.
As previously mentioned, Daniel Milo led the Storm by tying for a 10th place finish after shooting a 156 (78-78). Antonio Bodziony added an 18th place finish as he shot just one point behind his teammate with a 157 (78-79). The rest of the Lake Erie squad included Jacob Fitzpatrick with a 158 (78-80), Logan Cook with a 161 (79-82), Jarrod Teeter with a 162 (81-81), and Ross Teeter with a 166 (86-80).
This was not the only time the Storm made their way down to the Bluegrass State to compete in recent weeks. On March 19th and 20th, they competed in the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational. They earned a 14th place team finish, and Daniel Milo would lead the way for the Storm with a 154 (80-74).
As northeast Ohio will hopefully bring more golf friendly weather conditions in the coming weeks, the Lake Erie College men's golf program will get a chance to compete a little closer to home when they head down to Urbana, Ohio to compete in the Ohio Dominican hosted Bill Blazer Memorial Golf Tournament on April 9th and 10th.
