Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Amongst the deep snows of Northeast Ohio, the field at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium was cleared and ready to go as the Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team kicked off their 2022 campaign with a tough test as the nationally ranked the University of Indianapolis made the 6-hour trip up to Painesville. The Storm gave the Greyhounds all they could handle, but they would fall by a score of 13-7.

The third quarter saw Coach Ashton's squad continue to struggle with the Greyhound scoring prowess. However, Nick Askin would add one more goal in the period.
The Storm continued to try to close the gap in the final period, but a late goal from Tim Woods would not be enough to close the gap. The Storm would end up falling by a final score of 13-7.
