Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Lake Erie College Storm men's soccer team traveled to Tiffin, Ohio on October 6, to take on the Tiffin Dragons. The Storm would take care of the Dragons easily by a 3-0 score and improve their record to 3-6-3 on the season with a 2-4-2 conference record.
Just a week after taking down Trevecca Nazarene on the road 5-0, the Storm would easily take down another conference opponent.
Lake Erie would strike early, with Teddy Baker scoring an unassisted goal 13 minutes into the contest for his fifth goal of the season.
They would then go on a cold streak and it wasn't until the 72:37 mark that Tom Akinola would get a goal of his own. Akinola currently ranks third in the conference in goals scored with his sixth goal on the season during this contest.
Less than 10 minutes later, Daniel Utgaard would add the final goal on the day for Lake Erie, assisted by Teddy Baker for his G-MAC-leading eighth assist.
On the day, Baker would lead the way for the Storm with a goal and an assist. Goalkeeper Tomas Wroblewski would save two goals and allow none.
The Storm will return to action on Sunday, October 9 at home against the visiting Findlay Oilers at 3:00 PM.
