2026 G-MAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams

INDIANAPOLIS -
Six members of the Lake Erie College men's soccer team, along with head coach Louie Rolko, were recognized by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) for their success this season.

Rolko, who is in his 10th season as the Storm's bench boss, was named the league's Coach of the Year for the third time in his career after leading the Storm to the G-MAC regular-season championship with an overall record of 11-4-3 and a conference mark of 10-2-2.

Additionally, Lucas Howe, Luka Bekovic, and Veljko Radovanovic were named to the Great Midwest All-Conference First Team, while Nicolas Vagujhelyi, William Hjelte, and Patrick Bassett earned Second Team honors.

Howe and Bekovic anchored a backline that surrendered a conference-low 15 goals on the season (0.83 goals per game) and produced nine shutouts. Howe, a native of Sunderland, Great Britain, also added a pair of goals and an assist while starting 14 of the 16 games in which he appeared. A second-team selection a season ago, Bekovic recorded a goal and an assist while starting 15 matches.

A dynamic force through the center of the pitch, Radovanovic produced 14 points on a team-leading six assists to go along with four goals, three of which were game-winners. The Belgrade, Serbia, native started 17 of 18 matches, logging 1,224 minutes on the pitch.

Vagujhelyi recorded a team-high 15 points on the strength of five goals and five assists while starting 16 of 18 matches. The Reno, Nevada, native scored two game-winning goals and recorded two multi-goal games this season.

A spark plug on the wing, Hjelte turned in an electric freshman season. The Stockholm, Sweden, native delivered 10 points on four goals and two assists while starting all 18 matches.

After taking over in goal early in the season, Bassett was outstanding for the Storm, recording eight solo shutouts and making 28 saves. The sophomore from San Antonio, Texas, ranked second in the conference with a 0.72 goals-against average and posted a .737 save percentage.

The Storm will continue its quest for a G-MAC Tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament berth starting later today.
