Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Lake Erie College Storm men's soccer team traveled to Owensboro, Kentucky, on October 1, to take on the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers. They would end the contest in a draw, 1-1 and their record is now 2-6-3 on the season.
After an eventful contest the day before in which they scored five goals, the Storm would struggle against the Panthers.
Lake Erie looked like they were in a rhythm early as Tom Akinola would score the lone Lake Erie goal just one minute into the contest.
The Storm defense would hold most of the but Kentucky Wesleyan would tie things up with less than eight minutes remaining in the game.
Teddy Baker would lead the team with five total shots with Akinola and Connor Mautino leading with two shots on goal.
The Storm will return to action on Thursday, October 6 on the road again to face the Tiffin Dragons.
