The Lake Erie Storm men's soccer team returned to action against the Tiffin Dragons on Saturday, September 18th, and they will return to Painesville with a 1-0 victory. 

The Dragons and Storm played a closely contested match for the full 90 minutes, and the Storm was able to break the deadlock on an Ayden Von Essen goal that was assisted by Tom Pearson in the 54th minute.

The strong defensive play led by senior Ben Wiemann was able to keep 14 shots from the Dragons out of the back of the net, and freshman goalkeeper Tomas Wroblewski was able to log in two saves in his second collegiate start. 

The Storm finally return to Painesville for their home opener Thursday, September 23rd against the Findlay Oilers, whom they look to sweep on the year as the Storm defeated them 2-1 on September 16th in Findlay.
