The second half was where the Storm really found their stride. Freshman Teddy Baker would find the back of the net in the 47th minute. He was assisted by Tomas Fernandez. After taking the lead, the Storm would add the finishing blow in the 82nd minute with a goal by Alex Ovalle to seal the 3-1 win.
Defensively, the Storm continue to thrive behind strong goalkeeper play from Tom John who added 5 saves to the strong team win.
Lake Erie returns to action with a men's/women's soccer home double header against G-MAC foe Tiffin at 1 pm on October 23rd. The women's game will immediately follow the men's game.
