Storm Splits Day Two at IUP Invite

INDIANA, Pa. – The Lake Erie College volleyball team wrapped up the final day of the IUP Invite against Seton Hill and Indiana (Pa.).  The Storm lost game one in four sets, but bounced back to win the second match in four sets.  With the split the Storm is 2-2 on the season.   

In game two Lake Erie was victorious, 3-1 (22-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-20).  The Storm was led by Crystal Kedroske who had a team high 15 kills.  Madison Russell (Westerville, Ohio / Westerville South) also had double-digit kills with 12.  Defensively, the Storm was led by Graesyn Engler (Perrysburg, Ohio / Perrysburg) who had a team high 20 digs in the match.  Alexis Thomas (Cincinnati, Oh / Fairfield) helped the defense with 13 digs in the match.  

In game one the Storm was defeated, 3-1 (25-22, 26-24, 28-26, 25-22). 

The Storm will be back in action Tuesday (September 15th) when they host Alderson-Broaddus at 6 P.M.
