Box Score

PAINESVILLE, Ohio—The Lake Erie College men's soccer team (2-4, 1-2 GLIAC) could not overcome two second half goals from Ohio Dominican University (3-2, 2-1 GLIAC), as the Panthers defeated the Storm 2-0 in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest Sunday (Sept. 16) at the Jack Britt Memorial Stadium in Painesville.

After a scoreless first half, the Panthers cracked the scoreboard with a 50th minute goal.  Colby Catlett's shot was stopped by Storm goalkeeper Filip Ljubevski (Ajax, Ont./Pikering) when Drew Edler knocked the rebound in from less than two yards out.  Caleb Jones added a second goal for the Panthers in the 65th minute on Storm goalie Sam Etherton (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance).

The Storm conclude its current three-game homestand at The Britt on Friday, Sept. 21st, against GLIAC opponent Saginaw Valley State University (4-1, 1-1 GLIAC) at 2 p.m.
