PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Superior State (7-14, 4-9 GLIAC) hit for a huge season-high .410 in the match and Lake Erie College (2-17, 1-12 GLIAC) was unable to counter in a three-set loss in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. 

The Lakers won the match by a count of 25-18, 25-11, 25-20. 

Junior Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) and sophomore Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) led the Lake Erie attack with six kills each, narrowly trailed by sophomore Kristin Swann (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester) with five.  Senior setter Kristin O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) tallied 10 assists. 

The Storm return to action Friday at the University of Findlay.
