PAINESVILLE, OH - Saturday's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's soccer contest between Lake Erie and Penn State-Altoona remained scoreless until the 78th minute when the Lions slipped one past the Storm for the 1-0 defeat of the hosts.

Lake Erie had just four shots as compared to Altoona's 11, but it took only one goal to seal the victory as the Lions remain as one of the top teams in the conference with a 2-0-1 record. The Storm are now 4-8 overall and 1-2 in the AMCC. Lake Erie travels to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday at 2 p.m. to face off with the team picked to win the title according to the preseason coaches' poll.
