Storm Evens Conference Record with Win

PAINESVILLE, OH - The Lake Erie College women's soccer team evened their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) record at 1-1 with today's 2-1 win at Pitt-Bradford. Junior Loni Sargent (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) began the scoring for the day 31 minutes and 24 seconds into the game off of a pass from sophomore Angela Bethel (Beavercreek, Ohio/Miami Valley). The Panthers tied the game in the second half only to halt the Storm's offensive efforts for a few minutes as Bethel, the 14th leading scorer in NCAA-III, netted LEC's second goal shortly after, giving the Storm the go-ahead goal.

The win puts Lake Erie's overall record at 6-3 as they prepare for AMCC rival Penn State-Altoona on Saturday at 6 p.m.
