Sept. 1- Stevei Culverwell and Keri Cameron each scored for the Lake Erie College women's soccer team; however, the Storm surrendered four second half goals and lost 7-2 at Hiram College in both schools season opener.

Y./Cassadaga Valley), a junior, cut the Terriers lead in half at the 13:06 mark with the Storm's first goal. However, Hiram's Lauren Manfress, a sophomore, tallied her second goal two minutes after Culverwell's to extend the lead to 3-1.
Three minutes into the second half Cameron connected off a feed from sophomore Cassie Stanz (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) to cut the lead to 3-2, but Hiram again responded, this time with four goals in a 15 minute stretch. Sophomore Megan Crum accounted for three of the scores and totaled four goals for the game.
Junior Jane Roberts (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Odyssey) stopped nine shots in the losing effort, while sophomore Melissa Maskulka had six saves to earn the win.
