Oct. 26 - Keri Cameron (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) and Megan Gursky (North Canton, Ohio/Canton Central Catholic) each scored two goals as Lake Erie (4-13-1, 2-6-1) ended its Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference season with a 5-0 win at Pitt-Bradford.

Cameron, a junior, opened the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute off assists from sophomore Cassie Stanz (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) and fellow junior Becky Humphreys (Howard City, Mich./Tri-County). Gursky followed with a goal at the 38:14 mark to put Lake Erie up 2-0 at halftime. Katy Banks (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman), a freshman, had the assist.

Stanz opened the second half scoring with a goal at 56:37 off a feed from freshman Loni Sargent (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard), and Stanz then assisted Cameron a minute later. Gursky ended the scoring in the 82" minute with the assist coming from freshman Amy Shaffer (Warren, Ohio/JFK).

Sophomore Chrissy Griffeth (Saratoga Springs, N. Y./Saratoga Springs) made three saves in the first half to earn the win in goal, while junior Jane Roberts (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Odyssey) had one save in the second half.

Lake Erie will end its season on Friday, Oct. 30 with a 4:00 p.m. contest at Ursuline.
