PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was an All-Southeast Conference player at Saline High School... played middle blocker for four years for the Hornets... also played soccer, earning defensive most valuable player honors as a freshman... graduated with highest honors and was a four-year Honor Roll student.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in pre-med... sister is a member of the volleyball team at Grand Valley State University.
