2009: Played in seven matches as a reserve setter during her junior season... had 50 assists, including a season-high 18 vs. West Liberty on 11/7... had 14 assists vs. St. Augustine's on 8/29 and 10 vs. Ohio Valley on 11/3... also recorded 12 digs, four aces and three kills on the year... a career-high-tying five digs came in the match against St. Augustine's.
2008: Played in six matches as a sophomore, finishing with 23 digs and four service aces... also had two kills and seven digs... had a season-high six assists three times and two digs three times... had two aces against both Hillsdale on 9/2 and at Salem International on 9/5.
2007: Played in 16 matches as a freshman and ranked second on the team with 240 assists, averaging 4.29 per set... also made 29 kills and 21 total blocks... had 10 or more assists 13 times, including the last 10 matches of the season... started that streak with 25 assists at Pitt-Greensburg on 10/13... set a career-high with 29 helpers vs. Mount Aloysius on 10/27... had more than 20 assists two other times and had at least 18 twice more... had a career-high five kills vs. Penn State-Behrend on 10/2 and had a season-high five digs vs. Frsotburg State on 10/20... also had four total blocks, a career high, vs. Mount Aloysius.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Earned two varsity letters at Newark High School and was a two-time All-Ohio Capital Conference selection (2005, 2006)... helped team to a pair of regional championships her junior and senior seasons... a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Club... received the scholar-athlete award all four years.
PERSONAL: Born June 27, 1989... parents are Terry and Yvonne Hammonds... majoring in pre-med with a minor in mathematics... editor of the Lake Erie Yearbook and a member of the Student Activities Council, Students Making a Difference, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a College Ambassador... Dean's List student a participant in the Honors Program.
