Biography

2017: Appeared in 15 games, starting in all 15...led the Storm with 59 goals and assisted on four more...Mathis took 20 groundballs and caused six turnovers. She was named to the ALL-GLIAC First-Team. 

2016: Appeared in two games... scored eight goals and assisted on three more... caused two turnovers

2015: Mathis started all 15 games, and was named freshman of the year in the conference. Mathis scored 43 goals and had nine assists. 

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Five-year letter-winner and senior captain at Corning… First-Team All-American in 2014… First Team All-Star in 2014… Second-Team All-Star in 2013… Helped Corning win the Section IV Championship in 2012 and 2013… received the Michael J Shwartz Award… also played soccer… captain… First-Team All-Conference… helped Corning win the Section IV Championship in 2012

PERSONAL: Born on June 26, 1996… daughter of Herb and Cindy Mathis… Biology major with a  pre-vet concentration at Lake Erie
