Prep -

 Played for the Centennial Stars. His senior year he was named to the 1st Team Ohio District and 1st Team All-City.

Personal - 

Son of Ledra and DeWayne Scott, Sr. His father played baseball at The Ohio State University, and his cousin is the NFL Hall of Fame Running Back Jerome Bettis. DeWayne is planning to double-major in Communications and Sport Studies with a minor in Dance. After graduation, plans to become a broadcaster and analyst for ESPN.
