Kieran Toland

Born and raised Linwood, Scotland. Grew up playing in some top Scottish professional youth academies such as St Mirren, Queens Park and Morton.

Came to the US in 2014 and attended D1 school, St Bonaventure University. Captaining the men's soccer team from the spring season of his freshman year, he made 66 appearances, starting 63 of them. He finished his college career with 11 goals and 8 assists and led St Bonaventure back to its first postseason tournament in 7 years. He won awards such as NCAA D1 player of the week and United soccer coaches player of the week as well as being named to UTRGV all tournament team and Buffalo Best XI.

After his college career he continued to play moving around the world trialling with many professional clubs such as Reno 1868, Shamrock Rovers and Raith Rovers. He would settle down at Mousehole AFC, a step 4 club in the English football tier.

At Mousehole, he began his coaching career being an academy coach for both the club and the local college Penwith. He coached a team, who had 0 wins the prior year, and led them to a championship title.

During Covid, he started his own 1-2-1 coaching business, back at home in Scotland and still continues to do it alongside his job at Lake Erie.

He returns to the US to continue his coaching career and education. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program. In his first season at Lake Erie College, he helped lead the boys to a 16-4-1 season capturing both the regular season and postseason titles and also making it to the Sweet Sixteen of the National tournament
