Biography

2011: Started all 14 games at defense for the second year in a row as a junior... tied for second on the team with 48 ground balls... picked up a career-high nine ground balls against C.W. Post on 4/16/11... was second on the team with 18 caused turnovers.

2010: Started all 14 games for the Storm on defense as a sophomore after transferring to Lake Erie... recorded 31 ground balls on the season and took four shots on offense.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played in two games as a freshman at Clarkson University in 2009... played three years of lacrosse at Chittenango High School... earned all-league honorable mention asa junior and was twice named the team's most outstanding defenseman... also wrestled for four years.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 21, 1990... majoring in finance and business administration... parents are Chris and Alta Hamelinck.
