Biography

2013: Played in all 16 games as a senior, switching positions to Long Stick Middle... recorded 31 groundballs and forced 18 turnovers during the year... his 18 CT's tied for second on the team... had six groundballs and four caused turnovers in the season-opener at Mt. Olive on 3/2/13... had three other games with at least four GB's.

2012: Played in all 14 games as a junior, making two starts on defense... picked up 10 groundballs and caused seven turnovers... had three GBs vs. Wheeling Jesuit on 4/25/12... caused two turnovers twice.

2011: Played in all 14 games as a sophomore reserve... posted three shots on goal, all against Walsh on 3/15/11... picked up eight ground balls on the season.

2010: Started all 14 games on defense for the Storm as a freshman... picked up an assist in the win at Otterbein on 3/11.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played lacrosse and football for four years at Johnstown-Monroe High School... was named team's offensive player of the year, most valuable player, team leader and captain of the year... was an All-Ohio selection in football.

PERSONAL: Born March 16, 1991... majoring in communication with a minor in entrepreneurship... parents are Todd and Connie Jacob.
