Abdel Ruhman Yusuf is entering his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lake Erie in 2025-26. He primarily covers Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, and Women's Lacrosse.

Abdel Ruhman comes to Lake Erie after spending two years at the University of Toledo, where he served as the athletic trainer for the Rockets track and field program as well as the men’s and women’s golf teams. During that time, he also assisted with preseason football and served as the football home team liaison.

Prior to Toledo, Abdel Ruhman worked at Mount Union from 2021 to 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer. In that role, he provided medical care and coverage for the football, wrestling, baseball, and tennis teams.

Abdel Ruhman earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Kent State University in 2021 and earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Youngstown State University in 2019.
