PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played football for four years, earning two varsity letters at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep... was a first-team all-league selection... also earned all-county and all-area honors... named one of 10 best centers in the state of Michigan... played on state championship team as a senior... also lettered four times as a thrower in track and field.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 3, 1994... son of Tracy Vanderhoff... Legal Studies major.
