National Champion! Ross-Hughes Takes First in 800m

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- On Saturday, March 15th, junior Harry Ross-Hughes etched his name into the history books at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Ross-Hughes would capture the national title in the 800m with the winning time of 1:48.91!

With this electrifying performance, Ross-Hughes becomes the fourth individual national champion in Storm program history and, more notably, the first-ever runner to bring home a national title for the team. His historic victory marks the program's first national champion since Joe Postwaite's triumph in the 2014-2015 season, ending nearly a decade-long drought.

Ross-Hughes has been a dominant force on the track throughout his career, and this latest accomplishment only cements his legacy. Alongside his national championship, he also secured his fourth career All-American honor, further solidifying his status as one of the most decorated athletes in program history.
