PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The Lake Erie softball team hosted the Ohio Dominican Panthers at Kiwanis Park today for a doubleheader. The Storm fought hard in game one but ultimately dropped both games. Lake Erie now falls to 0-22 (0-8 G-MAC) on the season.
GAME 1
OHIO DOMINICAN - 2
LAKE ERIE - 4
The Panthers got off to a hot start in the first inning, scoring two against the Lake Erie starter,
Carly Rowland.
From there, Rowland pitched five-straight shutout innings to keep the Storm in the game. In the bottom of the sixth,
Arianna Tammaro got on base with a single. Two batters later,
Lillian Campbell cranked a two-run home run to left center off of
Grace Hammer to tie the game up.
The Panther's tacked on two runs in the top of the seventh and the Storm fell 4-2 in game one.

OHIO DOMINICAN - 7
LAKE ERIE - 1
Ohio Dominican got off to a quick start in game two, once again scoring two in the first inning.
In the bottom of the third inning, after the Panthers scored one in the top half,
Emma Spahr blasted a home run to right field, her seventh of the year.
The Storm knocked five hits over the final four innings but were unable to score, dropping game two, 7-1
