PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Lake Erie College Storm were back in action at home on Thursday, February 10, when they took on the Hillsdale College Chargers. Lake Erie was down 35-39 to the Chargers at the half. The Storm would end up falling 71-89. This brings their record to 6-17 and 4-11 in G-MAC play.
Lake Erie shot 43% as a team from the floor and 28% from behind the arch. They had 29 bench points and 30 points in the paint. Lake Erie totaled six steals, 28 rebounds, and 12 assists tonight. They caused eight Chargers turnovers leading to four points.
Lake Erie had four players in double figures scoring. The Storm were led by Todd Simons with a team high 14 points off the bench. Josh Irwin finished with a team high seven rebounds. Damion Williams finished with 13 points. C.J. Hornbeak had 12 points while Trace Bishko had 10. Caleb Piks finished with nine points off the bench.
Lake Erie is back at home on Thursday, February 15, when they take on the Ohio Dominican University. Tip off is at 5:30 PM.
