Game Recap
Lake Erie looked to continue their strong momentum after keeping pace with Tiffin and Findlay in their last two games. They used that momentum and jumped out to an early lead in just the ninth minute when
Aaron Garrote sent a line drive right in front of the goal into the leaping path of
Luke Peperak who met the ball in stride and put it in on a header.
Just three minutes later, Peperak found
Linus Oestlund for their second goal of the game and four minutes later the Storm poured it on when
Aaron Garrote recorded his second assist of the day, this time assisting
Nicolas Vagujhelyi.
In the 35th minute, Ohio Dominican showed a sign of life and finally got on the board before the end of the half.
The Panthers made things interested in the second by putting in their second goal of the game in the 62nd minute. However, the Lake Erie defense buckled down and held them scoreless, finishing with a 3-2 victory.
