FOSTORIA, Ohio -- The Lake Erie women's golf team eam kicked off their 2023 season this weekend at the Heidelberg Invitational.

The Storm would send two golfers to Fostoria to compete in their first career collegiate event, Hope Manning and Tayler Wilber.

Manning tied for 21st in the event, due in part to a strong second day in which she shot 76 (+4). Overall, she would shoot 165 (+21) on the weekend.

Wilber finished her first event with round scores of 107 and 113 for a total of 220 (+76) while finishing 77th.

The Storm will be back in action on September 22nd-24th at the Ashland Invitational held at the Ashland Golf Club.
