Volleyball Adds Six For 2023 Season

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie women's volleyball team prepares for the Fall 2023 season with its newest commits and a recently announced schedule. The Storm Volleyball team just finished the 2nd year of a building process that is showing great signs of growth on and off the court. "I am very excited for the Fall. We have made huge strides in the last 18 months and I am looking forward to seeing how the team continues to grow" notes Coach Anderson. The Storm is gaining six incoming players to their roster. The team graduated three seniors in the previous season, Maria Blatnik, Kaylee Hiser and Kariema Rodriguez-Diaz. All three players were important assets to the team, so the new six will be key additions. "I feel our 2023 class will be a foundational class for us moving forward. We have increased our skill level and overall athleticism. I am looking forward to seeing how our younger athletes grow!"

The Storm welcomes the six newest players: Niyah Fuggs, Cali Judge, Kylie Maxwell, Lauren Pallone, Jenna Sayles, and Kennady Wiley.

Coach Anderson's thoughts on Ni'yah:
