Kindall, Dent Lead Storm Past Senators For Another G-MAC Win

ELKINS WV – The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team traveled to Elkins, West Virginia to compete in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup against the Davis & Elkins College Senators. The Storm took care of the Senators 11-5 and earned their fourth G-MAC win of the season.

Lake Erie set the tone of the game in the first half, jumping out to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter, and extending it to 8-3 by the end of the first half.

In the third, both teams washed and added two goals to make it a 10-5 game. Both teams were very quiet in the fourth, with neither team scoring until the 2:10 mark when Billy Coughlin found Dawson Kindall for his fourth goal of the game. 

In addition to four goals, Kindall also added three assists to total seven points in the game. Connor Dent added three goals of his own on five shots.

Goalkeeper Gavin Conlan earned his first win of the season while allowing just five goals and racking up 10 saves.

Face off specialist Mike Flury continued his domincance by winning 14 of his 19 face offs and grabbing 14 ground balls in the process.

The win now gives the Storm a 6-8 record on the year and 4-2 record in conference play. They will be back in action on Saturday, April 29th on the road at Malone for their final regular season matchup before the G-MAC tournament starts.
