ASHLAND, Ohio -- The Lake Erie College men's basketball team traveled to Ashland, Ohio for their Great Midwest Athletic Conference Quarterfinals matchup against the Ashland University Eagles. The Storm were unable to hang with the Eagles for most of the game and fell in the contest, 81-69.

In the second half, the Storm would go down by as much as 20 points but. manage to claw their way back to just a four point deficit. Ultimately, the Eagles would go in a 15-2 run the rest of the way and hang Lake Erie the loss.

Despite recording an impressive 10 steals on the night, it was not enough as Ashland continued to make their shots when they had the opportunity.

Jacob Plantz would lead the Storm in scoring with 17 points in the season finale while Jordan Burge would score 11 on 5-of-9 shooting from the field.

The loss ends Lake Erie's season with a final record of 14-14 and 11-9 in conference play.
