ASHLAND, Ohio — The Lake Erie women's volleyball team traveled to Ashland to take on the Eagles for another G-MAC match. The Storm were unsuccessful in three sets, falling to the Eagles. The Storm move to a 2-8 G-MAC record and a 3-15 overall record. 

Lake Erie struggled to gain a lead in all three sets. Efforts from senior Alexandra Matthews and senior Katelyn McMoore led the Storm in offense, recording five kills each. Junior captain Simone Schurr finished the match with 12 assists, and junior libero Brooklyn Broadway picked up nine digs. 

The Storm head to Hammond, Indiana for the Crossover Tournament on October 13th and 14th to compete in non-conference play. Opponents and times are to be announced.
