INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Straight from their championship level performances at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Dominic Jones and Dakota Harvey have been honored again for their stellar performances as they have been included in the GMAC All-Conference First Team.

For Jones, it has been a strong season for the senior from Eastlake. Jones has built on his impressive career at Lake Erie with his Conference Championship in the 110 Meter Hurdles this season. Jones also had first-place finishes in the 110 Meter Hurdles at the John Homon Open at Mount Union, the Dave Labor Invitational at Slippery Rock, and the Yellow Jacket Open at Cedarville.

For Harvey, the season has taken a very similar trajectory to Jones. Harvey won the GMAC Championship in the Long Jump and won the first-place spot at the John Homon Open at Slippery Rock. He also competed well for the Storm in the 4 by 400-meter Relay for the Storm this season. 

For the Lake Erie track and field program and freshly minted head coach Derek Stout, this is certainly a great starting point as they look to make some big improvements in the offseason as they prepare to make a big splash in the 2023 campaign.
