Box Score FINDLAY, Ohio – The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team fell to the Findlay Oilers Feb. 17, 93-67 in Findlay, Ohio. The loss marks the Storm's second straight loss, dropping their record to 12-11 and 6-10 in conference play.
Despite a 49-37 deficit going into the second half, the Storm played very efficiently, shooting 50% from both the floor (14-28) and from beyond the arc (7-14). On the day, they would hit 12 threes, including 4 from Jordan Burton.
Lake Erie would also dominate the boards, out-rebounding the Oilers, 32-27 but would struggle to keep possession of the ball, turning the ball over 20 times in the contest.
With the loss, the Storm are now four games out of the final tournament spot and with only three games left, have been eliminated from tournament contention.
Lake Erie will be back in action on Feb. 19 at 3:00 PM on the road against Hillsdale.
