The Panthers would then go on a tear and extend their lead to ten a few minutes later. It would be a back-and-forth contest the remainder of the quarter but with twelve seconds left, in clutch fashion like he's done all season, PJ Jones would knock down a three-point shot to tie the game 62-62 and with ODU missing their last shot, the game would go into overtime.
In overtime, Ohio Dominican would take an early six-point lead but the Storm would come raging back. With 1:41 remaining, Jake Leibacher would hit a corner three to take the lead 70-68 and Lake Erie would end up coming away with the win 76-69.
