TIFFIN, Ohio – The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team traveled to Tiffin, Ohio to take on the Tiffin Dragons on December 1. The Storm would fight hard throughout the contest and pull out the victory, 68-64.

It was a great game to watch as both teams were evenly matched and showed it for all 40 minutes. Neither team would gain more than an eight-point lead at any time and there would be seven ties and eight lead changes.

In the final minutes, Jordan Burge would hit a shot to bring the Storm within one point, 60-61 with 2:14 left and one minute later would hit the go-ahead shot and give his team the lead 62-61. A couple of free throws later and a layup by Jacob Plantz, the Storm would come away with a 68-64 victory.

Jonny Manning would have a career night as he racked up 16 points and grabbed an impressive 18 rebounds, breaking the 26-year-old school record of 16 set by Jeremy Damron in 1996. PJ Jones, Plantz, and Burge would also score in double digits in the win.

The game takes the Storm's record to 3-3 in the early season and starts them out at 1-0 in conference play. They will suit up again on Saturday, December 3 at 3:00 PM at home against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
