PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Storm women's soccer team hosted the Malone Pioneers for their senior game. The Storm tied with the Pioneers, 1-1. They move to a 1-13-2 record going into the end of the season. 

The first half remained scoreless with a few shots from the Pioneers, saved by senior goalie Megan Biddell. Sophomore Leyna McCarty took a shot at 11:58, but missed out top. Sophomore Ava Frinfrock shot at 30:44, right before the Storm drew a penalty shot. Freshman Leonie Witt took the penalty shot, placing it in the back of the net for a Storm goal. The Storm held their 1-0 lead going into the second half.

Both sides held their ground in the second half, until the Pioneers were able to get a goal in at 70:52. At a 1-1 tie, the Storm and Pioneers fought to take the win. Neither team could score, with the clock running out with a 1-1 tie. 

Biddell recorded nine saves guarding the net for the Storm.

The Storm head to Ashland University to take on the Eagles for their last regular GMAC match, on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30 PM.
