Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Storm women's soccer team returned to their home field to host the Northwood Timberwolves for another GMAC match. The Storm fell 2-0 against the Timberwolves, as they fall to a 1-13-1 record.
The first half remained scoreless, with a shot from sophomore Madison Amburgey trying to put the Storm on the board. The Timberwolves took some shots, and one finally got in at 20:49. The Timberwolves kept shooting, but senior goalie Megan Biddell was able to make some saves. The half finished out with the Timberwolves ahead, 1-0.
The second half remained scoreless throughout, until the Timberwolves snuck in another goal at 87:52. Sophomore Rahel Lang tried to fight back with a shot, but was saved by the Timberwolves goalie.The Storm could not find an answer, and the clock ran out giving the Timberwolves the 2-0 win.
Biddell finished the match with seven saves in the goal for the Storm.
The Storm play on their home field again on Saturday, October 22nd against the Malone Pioneers at 11:00 AM.
