Box Score

CANTON, Ohio. – The Lake Erie College Storm men's soccer traveled to Canton, Ohio on October 11 to face Walsh University, for another top-tier Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup. The Storm would take down the once-ranked Cavaliers and improve their record to 5-6-3 on the season with a 4-4-2 conference record.

After taking down Findlay on Sunday, the Storm looked to keep the good times rolling with another statement win.

The Cavaliers would be the first to strike however with a goal at the nine-minute mark.

Thirty minutes later, the Storm would tie things up as Teddy Baker would find the back of the net after the pass from Alex Saggese. That would be all that either team would score for the remainder of the first half.

Lake Erie would then come out swinging to start off the second half however with Teddy Baker finding Connor Mautino this time to take the lead. This would prove to be enough and the Storm would earn a 2-1 victory over the Cavaliers.

The Storm will return to action on Saturday, October 15 at home to face the Cedarville Yellow Jackets at 7:00 PM.
