Box Score (Cedarville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie Storm women's basketball team fell to Cedarville University this -evening with a final score of 72-43.
The first quarter was a back-and-forth battle for the two teams as the score ended 16-15 in favor of the Storm. The Storm shared the ball well as many scored. Alexis Lehmkuhl started it off for the Storm was a layup assisted by Lainey Billing. Breanna Bauer, Taylor Thomas and Lauren Flannery all added points for the Storm.
However, the Yellow Jackets took over in the second quarter, as they topped the Storm 6-13. Bauer, Shalaya Heath were the only two to score for the Storm this quarter. The Storm was down at the half 22-28.
The third and fourth quarter went again, in favor of the Yellow Jackets. The third quarter ended with a score of 13-20 while the fourth 8-24. The Yellow Jackets took all momentum from the Storm as the put the game away.
Bauer was the high scorer for the Storm with 16 points, grabbing an impressive nine rebounds on the night. Lehmkuhl added eight points with two rebounds, along with Flannery who added seven points, with two rebounds and three steals.

The Storm is back at home Thursday, January 13th as they take on Trevecca Nazarene. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM.
