(Columbus, Ohio) – The Lake Erie women's basketball team fell to the Ohio Dominican Panthers last night in a 69-53 competition. The Storm was competitive through the first half as they had the lead going into the half 30-27.

The Storm was ahead most of the first quarter, but the Panthers got a taste of momentum and came back to take the lead 11-15.

The Storm's best quarter of the night was the second as they scored 19 points topping the Panthers 12, taking the half by 3 points.

The Panthers came out of the half ready to battle as they put up 20 points in the third quarter. Topping the Storm 11-20.

The fourth quarter was again controlled by the Panthers as they put up 22 points compared to the Storms 12.

Breanna Bauer was huge for the Storm as she put up 19 points, pulling down nine rebounds in the battle. Alexis Lehmkuhl and Lauren Flannery each put up an impressive 13 points. Lehmkuhl added eight rebounds with three blocks. Flannery added three rebounds with two assists, two steals and one block.

The Storm is set to travel to Cedarville University this Saturday to take on the Yellow Jackets in yet another conference matchup.
