Box Score The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team fell to Walsh, 72-60 on Jan. 22 in Canton, Ohio. This second consecutive loss drops the Storm's record on the season to 8-6 and 2-5 in conference play.
Despite the loss, the Storm refused to let Walsh out of their sights in the game, battling hard the entire contest.
On the day, Lake Erie would shoot 41.1% (23-56) from the field and 28% (7-25) from beyond the arc. Jordan Burton and Jonny Manning would lead the way with each recording 17 points. Manning would also add 10 rebounds.
The Storm would put together seven rebounds as a team but would be outshined by the Cavaliers defense who recorded more rebounds and blocks, in addition, to steals.
The Storm will be back in action on Jan. 24 at 5:30 PM on the road against Ohio Dominican before returning home on Jan. 26 against Ashland.
