Box Score (Painesville, Ohio) - The Lake Erie College Storm women's basketball team fell to the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers today in another tough battle.
The Panthers had control of the first quarter putting up 20 points compared to the Storm's 10. Abby Matalavage had five of the ten points in the first quarter.
The Storm gained momentum in the second quarter topping the Panthers by one point. Breanna Bauer added four points and Lauren Flannery put up five. Going into the half, the Storm was down 23-32.
Again, the Storm tried to battle back, but the Panthers did not give up. The third quarter went in favor of the Storm, by only 3 points. Bauer added another five points, and Alexis Lehmkuhl added four to keep the Storm in it.
The Panthers put the Storm away in the fourth quarter topping them 20-7.
Overall, Bauer and Flannery led the Storm as they each put up 11 points. Flannery added three steals and seven rebounds.

The Storm will be back in action Wednesday, January 19th as they travel to Malone University to take on the Pioneers.
