Box Score (Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie Storm fell to Trevecca University tonight in another conference matchup.
The first point of the game was not scored until the sixth minute on a free throw made by Breanna Bauer. Trevecca topped the Storm 17-10 in the first quarter, as the Storm struggled to gain momentum.
The second quarter went in favor of the Storm as they put up 25 points over Trevecca's 15. Bauer was responsible for seven of the 25 points as Lauren Flannery added five of her own. Going into the half, the Storm was up 35-32.
Both teams continued to battle in the second half as the third quarter was decided by just one point. Again, Bauer led the Storm, adding another eight points, with three from Angela Fink.
However, the Trojans put the game away in the fourth quarter topping the Storm 25-14.
To end the night, Bauer had a total of 20 points with nine rebounds and three assists. Flannery added 13 points with three rebounds and two assists, followed by Fink with 10 points, three rebounds and five assists.
