Box Score (Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie College Storm volleyball team fought against Ursuline College last evening but fell with a final score of 3-2.
Set scores were 20-25, 25-16, 25-20, 23-25, and 15-13 in favor of the Ursuline Arrows. There were many ties in the score, and lead changes as the two teams went back and forth.
Both Dora Olah and Kariema Rodriguez hit double-digits in kills tonight as Olah led with 14 and Rodriguez added 10. Jordan Taylor closely followed with nine.
Simone Schurr records 36 more assists to add to her already impressive freshman campaign.
On the defensive side, Sophomore, Jilianna Krebasch came up big for the Storm as she was responsible for eight blocks.
Six Storm athletes hit double-digits in digs last night, including Schurr (23), Kaylee Hiser (17), Taylor Metzler (14), Rodriguez (12), Olah (11), and Brooklyn Broadway who recorded (10) of her own.
Next Up
The Storm will be back in action this Friday, October 1st as they host the Hillsdale Chargers. First set will begin at 6 PM.
