Box Score The Lake Erie Storm women's soccer program took the field in Ashland, Ohio to take on the Ashland Eagles on Sunday, and they came up short with a 3-0 loss.
There were some bright sports for the Storm, however. Goalkeeper Megan Biddell was the anchor of the Storm defensive unit as she racked up 13 saves on 16 shots on goal from the Eagles offensive attack.
Additionally, the Storm kept the pressure on the Eagles with 4 shots on goal, but could not get one to reach the back of the net.
The Storm hit the road for their next Great Midwest Athletic conference matchup against the Cedarville University Yellow Jackets on Thursday, September 23rd for a 5 pm kickoff.
