(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie College Storm fell to the Walsh Cavaliers this evening with a final score of 3-0. The Storm was unable to gain momentum off the start losing 14-25, 20-25, and 9-25. The win improves the Cavaliers to 9-1 while the Storm falls to 1-9.

Offensively, junior Kariema Rodriguez led the Storm with seven. Peyton Lemmer recorded five kills on the night as well. Maria Blatnik and Dora Olah added four kills each. Olah added nine assists for the Storm, while Blatnik recorded 12 assists.

Defensively for the Storm, Kaylee Hiser led with 10 digs, followed closely by Rodriguez with nine and Blatnik with seven.

The Storm will be back in action for their final match of the season at home this Friday, March 5 as they take on the Malone Pioneers at 7 p.m.
