Box Score (Columbus, Ohio) – The Lake Erie Storm volleyball struggles against the Ohio Dominican Panthers in a three-set loss. The Panthers defeated the Storm 25-11, 25-16, 25-22.
Junior Kariema Rodriguez led the Storm with 12 kills on the night. Maria Blatnik and Alexandra Matthews both added five kills respectively. Dora Olah led the team in assists, recording 21 on the night.
Defensively, Rodriguez and Matthews recorded 4 blocks on the night. Olah added eight digs closely followed by Rodriguez with seven and Kaylee Hiser with six.
For the Panthers, Abbi Gillson, recorded an unstoppable 11 kills. Amanda Remmetter and Emilee Fecht both recorded seven kills on the night as well.
Defensively for the Panthers, Kelsey Shoup led the team with eight digs.
With today's loss against Ohio Dominican, the Storm falls to 1-2 overall. The Panthers improve their season to 4-0.
