(Tiffin, Ohio) – The Lake Erie indoor track and field team saw more improvement as they competed at the Tiffin Dragon Invitational held in the Heminger Center on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
"Despite the adversity, the current pandemic has presented, the overall effort this weekend was solid, and it was something to build upon as we continue to prepare for the forthcoming G-MAC Championships later this month," said head coach Giles Davis.
Coach Davis spoke about the Storm throwers and distance runners said, "I'm particularly excited about the efforts of the throwers today. With the throws coach in quarantine, the throws competed well with seasonal best in the shot put and weight throw."
"This young distance group also competed well this weekend, gaining valuable race experience as we continue to prep for the indoor championships."
